Takeover TV with Two Tube
Are you aged between 12 and 17? Would you like to work in RTÉ? With the launch of RTÉjr Digital channel, Two Tube is offering viewers the chance to Take Over TV, Radio and Online.
We are looking for young presenters to head up the following shows on the week of the official RTÉjr Digital channel launch:
TWO TUBE on RTÉ Two – Do you want to be a TV Presenter? Now is your chance to join the Two Tube team for a day behind the scenes working with the team and presenting in studio alongside Sinéad, Bláthnaid or Stephen (rte.ie/twotube)
RTÉ Ten Entertainment News online – Fancy yourself as a music, entertainment and fashion expert? Is the internet your thing? Win a day working alongside the RTÉ Ten team where you will get to research and script an entertainment review and present it in studio which will then go live on rte.ie/ten
Win a Day with Rick O’ Shea on 2FM –Do you see yourself as the next famous Irish DJ? Do you love music and chat? Then spending a day with Rick O’ Shea on 2FM could be just the experience you need. (2fm.rte.ie/rick)
To enter, all you have to do is complete the application form and film a 30-second video pitching yourself for your chosen role (Radio, TV, or Online). You can do anything you like in the 30 seconds! A practice interview, a sample performance or a comedy skit. Do whatever you think will impress the judges!
1 Good communication skills, naturalness in front of the camera or/and behind the microphone
2 The ability to engage an audience and to convey enthusiasm
3 Creativity in dealing with subject matter
4 The capacity to convey the essence of a story or other content succinctly
5 Good diction, a clear speaking voice and good grammar
6 Good basic or intuitive journalistic skills
Judges will include the Series Producer and Executive Producer of Two Tube who will be joined by a 2fm Radio Producer in the case of ‘Win a Day with Rick O’ Shea’ and the Editor of Entertainment and Lifestyle, TV Digital, for the role of RTÉ Ten Entertainment News presenter.
How to Enter:
Fill in the entry form below and upload your video. 30” is the maximum duration, judges will not watch any more than 30” of any video entry.
Closing date for entries is Friday 22nd March 2013.

HOW TO ENTER:
1 Make a short, 30-second VIDEO showing your performance. This can be shot on any recording device e.g., HD camera, smartphone, etc. N.B. The judges will only view the first 30 seconds of each entry so do not submit longer durations.

3 Choose your video file
4 Hit ‘send now’
5 Be patient, wait for your file to upload
6 Don’t click away from the page until it is fully uploaded!
