Tullow Youth Theatre, Co Carlow, and CSLK Media from Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin, win the public vote and the HeadsUp Movie Awards with a cash prize of €2,500, a broadcast on today’sTwo Tube and a day shadowing a leading filmmaker or animator.

The awards saw young people across Ireland enter their own short films on the theme of mental health as part of an initiative to end stigma concerning the issue. Organised by HeadsUp, a mental health promotion project run by Rehab, the awards were supported by Two Tube, RTÉ Two, and the National Office for Suicide Prevention’s ‘Let Someone Know’ campaign.

Congratulations go to the winners who were selected through an online vote on a shortlist of entries. The Tullow Youth Theatre was the winner of the under 18 category for ‘I Want To Be…’, while the winner of the over 18 category was CSLK Media for its short film ‘Daydream’.
